DESCRIPTION:
Wood engraving, hand printing (Japanese baren, without press), original design, gilding with 22 carat gold leaf. Each print is unique, made entirely by hand and can vary slightly, variations in density and details.
Wood engraving and an older technique than linocut. The engraving is carved with gouge on solid wood from recovery. The wood sculpture thus made is fragile because wood is a living material, the print is therefore limited in time.
Drawing, wood engraving, printing, and gilding with sheets are handmade by me in my workshop in Bédoin (84) in France.
You will receive an original print signed by the artist.
