DESCRIPTION :
Woodcut (woodcut), hand-printed (Japanese baren, no press), original design, 22-carat gold leaf gilding. Each print is unique, made entirely by hand and may vary slightly, variations in density and details.
Woodcut is an older technique than linocut. The engraving is carved with a gouge on solid reclaimed wood. The wood sculpture thus produced is fragile because wood is a living material, the print run is therefore limited in time.
The drawing, the woodcut, the printing, and the gilding are handcrafted by me in my workshop in Bédoin (84) in France.
You will receive an original print signed by the hand of the artist.
Original work sold unframed.
